GT VS RCB LIVE: Rahul Tewatia, David Miller star as Gujarat Titans seal playoffs spot with 6-wicket win over RCB – Check highlights
Gujarat Titans made a fine start to their chase with Wriddhiman Saha and Shubman Gill putting on 50 for the first wicket. However, Royal Challengers Bangalore bounced back with some quick wickets, with Shahbaz Ahmed and Wanindu Hasaranga triggering a middle-order collapse.
GT were in a spot of bother after Sai Sudharsan’s wicket but Rahul Tewatia and David Miller put in yet another fine performance. Needing 71 from the last six overs, the two left-handers combined well and took the attack to the opposition bowlers in yet another match-winning effort. Tewatia remained unbeaten on 43 off just 25 balls to seal the chase with 3 balls to spare to consolidate Gujarat’s lead at the top, sealing their place in the playoffs.

Earlier, RCB captain Faf du Plessis won the toss and became only the second team to decide to bat first. The move did not work as RCB once again failed to get a good start as veteran Pradeep Sangwan got skipper Faf du Plessis out for a duck in just the second over of the innings.
Virat Kohli finally turned back on his form and got his 1st fifty of the season, reaching the milestone in 45 deliveries. The former RCB captain stitched a vital 99-run partnership with Rajat Patidar, who scored a counter-attacking 32-ball 52. GT bounced back with Rashid Khan and Pradeep Sangwan striking in the middle overs, but some fine cameos from Glenn Maxwell and Mahipal Lomror ensured that RCB had a respectable 170 on the board.
