Subhman Gill and Wriddhiman Saha have been phenomenal with the bat and will open proceedings for the hosts. Skipper Hardik Pandya will come at number 3 followed by Vijay Shankar and David Miller who will anchor the innings. Rahul Tewati and Rashid Khan will play the role of a finisher given the 79 run explosive exploits of the latter against MI.

In terms of the bowling department , if Hardik is unfit to bowl, Mohammed Shami will spearhead the attack while Mohit Sharma will accompany him with the new ball. Alzarri Joseph will then bowl in the middle and the death overs. With 23 wickets and the current purple cap leader, Rashid Khan who scalped a four-fer in the previous game will be accompanied by youngster Noor Ahmad.
