Mohammed Siraj will turn up for his third franchise at the Indian Premier League (IPL)! After his development stint with the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and a successful 7 years at the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Siraj will be doing his best for the Gujarat Titans (GT). Siraj has had an iffy last few months. He was surprisingly let go by RCB before the IPL 2025 mega auction before also getting dropped for the ICC Champions Trophy. Now, he gets a chance at redemption.

How does GT lineup look in IPL 2025 opener
Shubman Gill, gladly, won the toss and elected to bowl first in their opening clash against PBKS in Ahmedabad. During the toss, he said, “We will bowl first. It is a good cricketing wicket. There is some dew here. Just keeping it in mind. Dew is a big factor here. Big targets can be chased down. Preparation has been amazing. We have our bases covered. The bowling attack is good. Very fortunate to play at the biggest stadium in the world. We have four pacers and two spinners.”
With GT bowling first, they have kept an extra bowling option. Quite fascinatingly, Washington Sundar isn’t in the playing first XI. He’s amongst the impact substitute options but isn’t likely to come in the second half either. With just three overseas players – Jos Buttler, Rashid Khan & Kagiso Rabada – GT is expected to bring either Sherfane Rutherford or Glenn Phillips in the 2nd innings.
