“Nice to be out there with the guys. A shame to lose David for a week or two,” Kane Williamson told the broadcasters in the mid-innings interview.

Today IPL match toss

Punjab Kings (PBKS) have won the toss and have opted to bowl first against Gujarat Titans (GT) in Ahmedabad in match number 17 of IPL 2024.

Narendra Modi Stadium Pitch Report

Given that the pitch favours both pace bowlers and spinners, the Narendra Modi Stadium has established a reputation for providing a fair match between bat and ball. Nevertheless, both teams have the necessary talent to adjust to the circumstances and seize any opportunities that present themselves, with players like Rashid Khan and Sam Curran among their numbers. After winning the toss, both teams are probably going to choose to bowl first because of the current conditions and the pattern seen in past games.
