The Gujarat Titans had a busy day in the IPL 2024 auction in Dubai on Tuesday. The franchise, who had the biggest purse ahead of the auction, went on spending spree and didn’t hesitate to throw big bucks to get their desired player. GT’s biggest purchase was Australian pacer Spencer Johnson who the side bought for a whopping 10 crore.
Notably, Gujarat released eight players including some fast bowlers ahead of the auction. They retained 17 players from last year, beside letting their captain for the past two seasons Hardik Pandya go in a high octane trade deal with Mumbai Indians.
