Grind mode on! Hardik Pandya sweats it out in the gym ahead of the PBKS clash

Leading the Mumbai Indians for the first time, Hardik has managed to win just two of the six matches they have played.

The IPL 2024 season hasn’t been kind to Hardik Pandya. But the Mumbai Indians skipper isn’t letting the disappointment get to him. He continues to work on himself despite facing failure as a captain for the first time in his career. Ahead of the Mumbai Indians vs Punjab Kings clash on April 18, he decided to toil hard in the gym, getting ready for the must-win match.

Hardik Pandya powers on despite failure

Nothing seems to be working for the all-rounder. Questions have been raised about his fitness, as he’s bowled just 11 overs in the six matches he’s played. His batting has been hit-and-miss, while his captaincy skills and tactics have been scrutinized as well. From promoting Piyush Chawla ahead of Tim David and not handing Jasprit Bumrah the new ball on many occasions, there have been quite a few missteps from him.

Despite these, Hardik Pandya continues to motor along as he strives to find his best again. With just 8 group stage matches left, his and the Mumbai Indians‘ time is running out. So, it’s apt that Hardik is giving his all before the PBKS match, given how much stands on the line.
