Grand homecoming for Hardik Pandya in Vadodara after India’s T20 World Cup success

Hardik Pandya who faced backlash a few months ago, is now the blue-eyed boy of Indian cricket and is set to receive a grand welcome in his hometown.

The India men’s cricket team have achieved wonders at the recently held T20 World Cup. Team India hoisted the tricolor at Barobads ground. Indian cricket fans still can’t get away from the hangover of victory, we witnessed a victory parade at Marine Drive, Mumbai. Also meeting with India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and various players were felicitated by their local state governments.

Now, one more player is set to receive the same honor, India’s trusted all-rounder Hardik Pandya, whose batting and bowling performances greatly contributed to India winning the silverware, will receive a grand welcome in his hometown, Vadodara.

The organizers aim to create a crowd similar to the one we witnessed at Marine Drive in Mumbai. It was reported that almost 300,000 people gathered. And just like the same they are planning memorable welcome here as well for Hardik Pandya.

The procession is set to start from Mandvi, pass through Lehripura, Sursagar, and Dandiya Bazaar, and conclude at Navlakhi Compound. Additionally, it is noteworthy that they plan to invite Pandya’s coach, teachers, neighbors, and relatives.

To ensure smoothness, organizers have requested the presence of approximately 700 police staff members, all set to provide security for this massive event.
