Good sign for PAK vs BAN Test series, Bangladesh A arrives in Islamabad amid cancellation concerns

Bangladesh A was originally slated to reach Pakistan on August 8, but that plan was postponed due to political unrest.

Due to political unrest in Bangladesh, the upcoming 2-match Test series between Pakistan and Bangladesh looked uncertain. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) had also postponed their ‘A’ tour, which was supposed to start on August 13. Adamant to host the Tests, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) even told the BCB that they’d fly the Bangladesh team out.

Originally, the Bangladesh A side was going to reach Pakistan on August 8, but the BCB was still figuring out where it was feasible for the tour to go ahead. Two days later, they arrived in Islamabad, with the A tour commencing in just three days. This certainly bodes well for the Test series, which starts on August 21 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The senior Bangladesh side is scheduled to arrive in Pakistan on August 17th, and by the looks of it, all things are back on track.
