Rohit Sharma Fit and Fine!

Following India’s win, Rohit claimed that he was a bit sore from the injury. But now it he is completely fine and has trained well in the nets. It can be well understood that Team India took a precautionary call to retire him hurt to avoid any further injury concerns.

Not just Rohit, ace southpaw Rishabh Pant was also struck on on his arm but he continued fine and remained unbeaten to guide India to a strong victory. “I said it at the toss, we were quite unsure of what to expect from the pitch. It’s a new ground, new venue, drop-in pitch, we weren’t aware of what’s it like to pay on a pitch that is five-months old,” Rohit Sharma said after the game.

And now that he is fit and fine, Rohit Sharma will once again effectively lead his side as India take on Pakistan in a mouth-watering clash on 9th June in New York.
