South Africa pacer Kagiso Rabada starred for South Africa on Day 1 in IND vs SA 1st Test at the Centurion. The pacer picked up a 5-wicket haul to reduce India to 208/8 on the opening day.
Ahead of the second day’s play, Rabada opened up on his fierce spell and said that he just tried to bowl in right areas to extract most out of the pitch.
“Just tried to get the ball in a decent area, tried to use all the skills that I’ve picked up”, Rabada said on Star Sports.

Despite losing three wickets in the first session, Team India were in control with Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer looking settled after being dropped early in the innings.
However, Rabada dismissed both set batters post lunch to put India in the back foot.
“Kohli and Iyer were playing well, dropped early in the innings and I’m glad those drops weren’t too costly”, the Proteas pacer added.
The 28-year-old also lauded debutant Nandra Burger and said that he has shown that he is a “fierce competitor”.
“He seems to be a fierce competitor, you saw it yesterday with the way he was bowling. I’m very happy for him and wish him many more wickets in his Test career”, Rabada concluded.
