With just two runs required for India’s win and three needed for Virat Kohli to register a century, Bangladesh spinner Nasum Ahmed bowled a leg-side delivery which went past Kohli’s pads. However, Umpire, Richard Kettleborough did not adjudged that ball wide.
Richard’s decision proved to be a boon for Virat Kohli as he got an additional opportunity to get to his 48th ODI century. He is now one ton away from equaling Sachin Tendulkar’s record in the 50-over format.
