After restricting the Giants to a below-par 126, the defending champions chased down 127 in 18.1 overs with 5 wickets in hand. Harmanpreet Kaur remained unbeaten on 46 as MI registered their second win on the trot to top the points table.
Earlier, pacer Shabnim Ismail and leg-spinner Amelia Kerr shone with ball to help Mumbai Indians restrict Gujarat Giants to 126/9 in 20 overs. Kerr picked a 4-wicket haul, while Ismail grabbed 3 wickets.
