Getting better with age! Mohit Sharma thanks Ravi Shastri for reminding him of his age

SRH vs GT: Mohit Sharma thanks Ravi Shastri for reminding him of his age, claims he is getting better with age

Mohit Sharma yet again displayed his supreme prowess in death bowling in the SRH vs GT clash. After the game, Mohit thanked Ravi Shastri for reminding himself of his age. But the veteran bowler went on to claim that he is getting better with age. Most importantly, with Mohammed Shami missing the tournament, it is Mohit Sharma who is leading the pace attack for the Gujarat outfits.

Mohit Sharma bagged a three-fer giving away just 25 runs in his 4 over spell. Interestingly, in his entire spell, the pacer went on to concede only just a single boundary – a six by Abdul Samad in the 18th over of the game. Gujarat Titans restricted SRH to scoring just 162 runs.

“Thank you sir for reminding me that I’m getting older day by day (chuckles),” Mohit Sharma thanked Ravi Shastri during the post match presentation ceremony.

“Practice is normal but the important thing is how to use the variation according to the game situation. Bowlers do have variations but it matters when and how to use it. It’s important when you have two balls in mind, the batters are also ready, they are ready for the slower bouncer but they are not ready for the slower short ball wide of the wicket so I mix and match,” Mohit concluded.
