India cricket team head coach Gautam Gambhir‘s role is under the scanner, given his poor track record in the last three months. Despite getting off to a winning start in his career as red-ball coach, the ex-Indian opener has come under fire for his decisions on selections and approach, especially in the series against New Zealand and Australia. While reports had earlier claimed that Gambhir and skipper Rohit Sharma are not on the same page when it comes to selection matters, a new report has shed further light on the issue.
Tiff between Gautam Gambhir and selectors?
As per Cricbuzz, Gambhir does not hold discussions on selection matters with the selectors unlike his predecessor Rahul Dravid did. Alongside this, reports of him not being on the same page as Rohit is also likely to be taken up for discussion in a closed-door meeting of the BCCI after the tour against Australia.
