Frustrated Sanju Samson refuses to answer where RR let game slip as GT steal win

At the post-match presentation, Samson refused to answer a question on when exactly the side let the game slip out of their hands

Rajasthan Royals skipper Sanju Samson was seething with anger after Gujarat Titans snatched a victory from their jaws on Wednesday. Shubman Gill and co clinched a nail-biting victory as the RR bowlers conceded too many extras, helping GT chase down the 197-run target.

Furious Sanju Samson has no answers after RR’s loss

At the post-match presentation, Samson refused to answer a question on when exactly the side let the game slip out of their hands. He then went on to say that he would answer the question later on after emotions settle down. The presenter, Pommie Mbangwa was visibly surprised with Samson’s response to his first question.

The last ball of the game (laughs). To be honest, it is very hard to speak at this moment. The captain has the hardest job in the league to speak after losing the game and to tell where we lost is tough. Maybe after a few hours, I can tell,” Samson responded to a question.

Who won yesterday’s IPL match?

Gujarat Titans pulled off a heist. Needing 124 runs in the last 10 overs, Rahul Tewatia and Rashid Khan provided the final flourish. Rashid scored 11-ball 24 while Tewatia smashed 11-ball 22.

Chasing a 197-run target, Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill provided a steady start but they were slow. And then, there was a Kuldeep Sen spell that rattled GT. But Shubman scored 44-ball 72 to keep things under control before Rashid Khan finished things off.
