The former World Cup winning star was seen meeting members of the Indian and Pakistan cricket team ahead of the game. Chris Gayle is one of the brand ambassadors for the marquee event that is co-hosted by the USA and the Caribbean islands. Alongside Gayle, Yuvraj Singh and Shahid Afridi are the other ambassadors for the T20 World Cup 2024. India will lock horns with arch-rivals Pakistan in their second game of the tourney at the Nassau County International Cricket stadium.
