The Pakistan cricket team’s preparations are in full swing for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024. They are currently playing a five-match T20I series against New Zealand at home to try and test their players for the tournament and select the best Probable XI for the tournament.
Notably, the ‘Men in Green’ will also play against Ireland and England following the New Zealand series, furthering their preparation ahead of the T20 World Cup.

Pakistan T20 World Cup 2024 Best Playing XI
Babar Azam has returned as captain just ahead of the big tournament, where he will lead the team in the major event. The Pakistan captain will open with Saim Ayub, while Mohammad Rizwan and Usman Khan will come in at the third and fourth positions.
Pakistan boasts plenty of all-rounders in their squad. Iftikhar Ahmed, Imam Wasim, and Shadab Khan are expected to secure their places in the Pakistan Probable T20 World Cup squad.
Mohammad Amir, who has come out of retirement to play for the T20 World Cup, will be included in the team. Alongside him, Naseem Shah and Shaheen Afridi will provide additional pace options for Pakistan. Usama Mir will serve as a spinner for Pakistan.
