From 60% hike to employee of the year award, Oracle gets bizarre requests for Saurabh Netravalkar

Social media users are flooding Oracle's congratulatory post for Netravalkar with all kinds of demands.

USA pacer Saurabh Netravalkar has become an overnight hero after being one of the most instrumental players in helping USA reach the Super Eight stage. Besides being a cricketer, Netravalkar is also a full-time employee of tech giants Oracle. After USA’s progress to the next round of T20 World Cup, Netravalkar’s company is being flooded by requests regarding the lanky fast bowler.

Social media users are tagging Oracle in their posts and demanding various things for Netravalkar. The demands range from a 60 per cent salary hike to allowing him more leaves.

“So proud of our very own AI engineer and cricket star Saurabh Netravalkar! USA making history in the T20 World Cup,” Oracle had tweeted from their official X account.

“Thank you so much Oracle for your support in enabling me to pursue my passion alongside my tech career!” Netravalkar had replied.

One user took to social media to urge Oracle to increase his salary.

“Please raise his pay by 60%” an X user urged Oracle.

Another user wrote, “Allow him to focus on game and free him from all the deadlines. Please.”

Another social media user asked Oracle to extend his leaves. “Now please extend his leaves and don’t allow him to work even after coming back to hotel. Be a good employer,” the user said.

Another user urged Oracle to provide him with the ’employee of the year award.’

“Bro should be the employee of the year,” the user wrote.
