Back in 2022, Rishabh’s lawyer, Eklavya Dwivedi, had told Sports Tak that Mrinank told the DC skipper, that he started a new business of luxury items, and could get them for a cheap price. Pant, on the other hand, transferred a huge sum to get expensive watches, and gave him jewelry, and other items for resale purposes.

The report further suggests that, due to unfulfillment of commitment, Pant served him a legal notice, and Mrinank then issued a cheque for the same amount. But it could not be encashed due to insufficient funds.
