Flintoff & Vaughan set to play for England again! Sons to make their debut soon in U19 series

It looks like we are all set to witness Flintoff and Vaughan once again, as Michael Vaughan and Andrew Flintoff's sons are all set to charm the spectators with their cricketing attributes.

After Rocky Flintoff, son of Andrew Flintoff, who recently made headlines for following in his father’s footsteps by getting into the Under-19 camp for the England cricket team against Sri Lanka, another legendary England cricketer and former captain Michael Vaughan’s son, Archie Vaughan, is all set to make his Under-19 test debut next week against Sri Lanka. Just like his father, Archie is a top-order batter and also possesses off-spin abilities. He was signed by Somerset earlier this season.

One more familiar name!

Apart from Rocky Flintoff and Archie Vaughan, there is one more familiar surname associated with cricket in the squad. Nottinghamshire off-spinner Farhan Ahmed, the younger brother of England international Rehan Ahmed, is also included. Looking back into the past, both Michael Vaughan and Andrew Flintoff have contributed massively to the Three Lions.

Flintoff senior gained fame for his performances in the Ashes in 2005, where his all-round abilities made him a key asset for the team for several years. Michael Vaughan, who played an impressive 82 Test matches and scored 5719 runs, is known for his tactful captaincy and is considered one of England’s greatest players to ever play the game. Also, Vaughan and Flintoff Sr. played alongside each other in 48 Tests between 1999 and 2008, and now their sons are set to charm the England side with their attributes.
