Ravichandran Ashwin is back with a bang. What an ordeal it has been for the veteran all-rounder. On day 2 of the IND vs ENG Rajkot Test he scalped his 500th wicket. Left the team, joined after 2 Days and went on to scalp another wicket.
The Indian bowling order completely ran riot against the England Cricket Team. Ashwin joined the squad directly from the airport. He took the field in the 3rd session following Tea.
Ashwin scalped his 501th Test wicket after dispatching Tom Hartley. In fact it was his 250th wicket against a left hander in the longest format of the game.

Probably the cricketing gods wanted Ashwin to scalp a wicket after retuning to the squad. A big inside edge was all that was needed to dispatch the English spinner. A tossed up delivery way outside off stump. Hartley went forward to go for a cover drive.
But the ball takes a thick inside edge to hit the off stump. An elated Ravi Ashwin celebrates in joy. It was surely a important wicket for the veteran all-rounder who returned to the India camp on the very same day.
