After missing three net sessions, Virat Kohli has finally joined India cricket team for a training session. The former skipper, who arrived a little later than the rest of the team, sat out of the warm-up game against Bangladesh as well. India will take on Ireland in their T20 World Cup opener on June 5.

Despite missing practice sessions, Kohli’s recent performances inspire confidence. He dominated the IPL 2024 season, securing the Orange Cap for the second time in his career with a phenomenal 741 runs in just 15 innings. Furthermore, he holds the prestigious title of leading run-scorer in T20 World Cup history, having amassed an impressive 1141 runs across 27 matches since 2012.
