Delhi Capitals (DC), formerly known as Delhi Daredevils, have a history of having remarkable stars leading the side. From the fiery Virender Sehwag to the flamboyant Rishabh Pant, the side has been led by men who have multiple accolades to their names. Delhi Capitals captains so far
The inaugural edition of IPL in 2008 saw Virender Sehwag lead the Delhi Daredevils. In the 2009 edition, Gautam Gambhir was named the captain of the Daredevils. Dinesh Karthik, Kevin Pietersen, Zaheer Khan, Mahela Jayawardene are among the other stars who had a brief stint as the captain of DC/DD.
Rishabh Pant will lead the side in IPL 2024.
