Virat Kohli went on to smash his third ODI century against Pakistan in multi-national events. He has also stroked two fifties against the Men in Green.

Former Indian skipper Virat Kohli came out trumps once again in front of the mighty Pakistani bowling line-up. The senior batter went on to smash 122 runs off just 94 balls. During his marathon innings, Kohli also went on to completed his 13,000 ODI runs as India posted 356 runs on the board. With Virat Kohli smashing Pakistani bowlers for fun, the Indian fans on social media did not hold back to praise the star batter while some also criticized Pakistan for their poor show in the bowling.

Kohli averages 60+ against Pakistan in Multi-national events

As mentioned above, Kohli continued his excellent run against the Men in Green as the senior batter went to smash his third century against PAK in multi-national events. Apart from that, Kohli has also stroked two fifties with the bat. He averages more than 60 against the arch-rivals as the modern-day great put on a show in Colombo on Monday against Babar Azam and Co. Kohli’s ton came against Pakistan, against whom he has scored 640 runs in 15 matches.

Apart from completing 13,000 ODI runs, Kohli also equaled former Australian captain Ricky Ponting’s record of most 50+ scores in One-day cricket with 112. Not only this, Kohli’s good form in Colombo continued as he had made scores of 128, 131 and 110 before today’s marathon innings.

Apart from Kohli, KL Rahul also completed a fine comeback as the compact batter stroked a hundred in his comeback innings. Earlier, openers Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma had also stroked fifties with the bat as Pakistan are now looking a daunting target of 357 runs on the board.
