After praising the Indian cricket team for their success in Ranchi, Virat Kohli along with his daughter Vamika decided to celebrate Rohit Sharma and Co’s triumph by treating themselves in a London cafe. The former Indian captain has been in London for the past month and welcomed his son, Akaay, on February 15th.
Kohli had left the India cricket team just three days before the start of the India vs England series. At first, not much was known about the reason behind his leave of absence. He was initially ruled out of the first two Tests, but the BCCI later confirmed that the former skipper wouldn’t be in action for the entire series.
Amid uncertainty over his absence, Virat Kohli announced the birth of his second child through social media a week ago. Soon after, the star cricketer was spotted in London, confirming previous reports about his whereabouts.
Earlier today, after India won the series 3-1 in Ranchi, Kohli was one of the first to congratulate the team. He lauded the ‘young’ Indian team, writing, “Phenomenal series win by our young team. Showed grit, determination and resilience.”
