Gill was able to reach the milestone in 19 innings of ODI cricket, a feat which was achieved by Kohli and Dhawan in 24 innings. Gill has been a regular member of the Indian team since his debut, having played 19 ODIs, 3 T20Is, and 13 Test matches.
The Indian opener has also been impressive in the ICC Under 19 World Cup, where he was the highest run-getter for India. His impressive performances in the tournament earned him a place in the Indian team and he has been able to make the most of the opportunity.
