The moment occurred in the 15th over when Kohli completed a second run off the fourth ball bowled by Wanindu Hasaranga. After safely reaching the striker’s end, Kohli appeared visibly exhausted and jokingly asked Rajasthan Royals skipper Sanju Samson to check his heartbeat.
Fans heared Kohli saying to Sanju, “Heartbeat check karna. (Check my heartbeat).” Sanju Samson replied, saying “Theek hai. (It’s okay).”
Virat Kohli and RCB made the decision to take strategic time out as soon as the 15th over was done in order to give the batsmen a chance to regroup and gather their breath.
