Fans are eagerly preparing for the ODI World Cup 2023 in India, but concerns arise as ticket releases have not been announced yet. Nevertheless, enthusiasts remain determined to secure their spots for India’s matches, specially for the India vs Pakistan clash at the Narendra Modi Stadium on October 15. Some have already booked hotels in advance, and the surge in demand has led some to reserve hospital beds as an alternative as the hotel prices have sky rocket ever since the World Cup schedule was released.
Although the ICC unveiled the schedule two weeks ago, the BCCI has yet to provide any details regarding the ticket release date. The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) took the lead by announcing ticket prices for the five World Cup games at Eden Gardens. Currently, the BCCI and ICC are working to accelerate the process of providing ticket information to the fans.
