The picture was taken from the T20 World Cup warm-up match against Bangladesh. As Rohit Sharma was captaining the Indian side and cameras showed Rohit setting the field for Arshdeep Singh. The picture depicted Rohit with a big, fat belly. Which clearly had been morphed by some user and then posted on social media.
Since Rohit Sharma has a bulky physique and, as mentioned, is often targeted by critics because of his appearance, and once again some users try to exaggerate things.
India got off to an impressive start
Rohit Sharma led India to a 60-run victory over Bangladesh in the T20 World Cup 2024 warm-up game. India posted 182 runs in their 20 overs, with southpaw Rishabh Pant impressively scoring 50 runs. Also, we witnessed Hardik Pandya’s redemption as he also made 46 runs in 23 balls. As for bowling, Arshdeep Singh performed well, taking two wickets in the powerplay to help India restrict Bangladesh to 122 for 9 in 20 overs.
