Many fans have been circulating the clip under the impression that it depicts the aftermath of the latest RCB vs SRH match, where Royal Challengers Bengaluru fell short by 25 runs. However, a closer look reveals that this video is actually misleading.
Virat Kohli didn’t involve in a verbal fight
A closer look reveals that the video is, in fact, from the 2023 IPL season, not the ongoing one. The footage shows Kohli engaged in a conversation with his friend and fellow cricketer Mayank Agarwal. Upon closer inspection, their exchange appears to be more in the nature of friendly banter rather than a serious argument.

The misconception probably stems from the recent RCB loss to SRH, where the Orange Army completely thrashed the hosts at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Batting first, SRH hammered the highest team total in IPL history as he smashed 287/3 in their 20 overs, with Travis Head scoring a century. During the first innings, Kohli was also seen showing his frustration.
This, alongside, with fresh memories of the disappointing defeat, fans might have mistakenly associated any video featuring Kohli and an SRH player with the just-concluded.
