RCB vs LSG: Mohammed Siraj's poor form continues in IPL 2024, ace pacer leaks 47 runs in RCB vs LSG clash

Mohammed Siraj has been hammered yet again in the ongoing IPL 2024. The ace pacer fared well against Punjab Kings on his second match. But things took a wrong turn against KKR and now against Lucknow Super Giants. In the RCB vs LSG clash, he leaked 47 runs but managed to scalp a solitary wicket.

Against KKR, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru pacer gave away 46 runs, come LSG, he leaked 47 runs. And in the grand scheme of things, it is bad news for Team India. With no Mohammed Shami, India desperately needs an experienced pacer to partner Jasprit Bumrah.

Siraj Continues to Leak Runs

Siraj’s poor form in T20Is and IPL will now be a big problem for the Men in Blue. Siraj managed to bag the wicket of Devdutt Padikkal. In his first spell he bowled 2 overs where he gave away 24 runs. On his third over he managed to leak 10 runs.

The ace pacer was tasked to bowl the final over of the innings by Faf du Plessis. He started the over brilliantly, bowling 3 dot balls. But then he lost his momentum as Nicholas Pooran gained control. The southpaw hammered back to back sixes and took a single in the last ball to take LSG’s score to 181.

Siraj will have to mind his mojo back real soon as he will be keen to keep his spot in Team India squad for ICC T20 World Cup.
