“I think that expectation comes with with the territory. As soon as you you go through a substantial amount of money, or you’re one of the higher paid players in a in a team. So, certainly comes with the territory. If I was a bit younger and hadn’t had some of the experiences I’ve had, probably it would affect me differently. But having been through plenty of ups and downs along the road and the journey they’ve been on, you probably take it in stride in a little bit”, Starc said on LiSTNER Sport.
The 33-year-old pacer, who will return to the IPL after a gap of 9 years, said that he is hoping to have more good experiences than bad in the league.
“It’s part of the experience. I’m sure I’ll ride the wave of the good and the bad and hopefully more good times and than the bad. But, um, yeah, it’s all part and parcel isn’t it?”, the pacer added.
