Former England legend Graham Thorpe has passed away at the age of 55 years. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) took to social media platform X to pay tribute to the late cricketer. Thorpe has played 100 Tests in his career for England and has even gone on to coach the side.

“The cricket world is in mourning today. Our hearts go out to his wife Amanda, his children, father Geoff, and all of his family and friends during this unimaginably difficult time,” the ECB said in a statement.
“We will always remember Graham for his extraordinary contributions to the sport.”
In 100 Tests and 82 ODIs, Thorpe amassed 6744 and 2380 runs respectively in a career that spanned for 13 years. He had 21,937 runs to his name in first-class cricket where represented Surrey. He played his last Test for England in 2005.
