Dhoni asked to respond in Rs 15 cr fraud case

The board committee has sought an official response from Dhoni by August 30, as per reports. The complainant had filed a plaint against Mihir Diwakar and has framed fraud charges against Diwakar, Soumya Das, and Aarka Sports, who had been associated with Dhoni.

Earlier in March 2024, the court had summoned Mihir Diwakar, Soumya Das, and Aarka Sports Management Pvt. Ltd in relation to the case. Dhoni’s lawyer went on to claim that multiple academies were opened under the name of the former skipper without his knowledge.

MS Dhoni suffered a loss of Rs 15 cr due to the incident, as per reports.
