Virat Kohli’s commitment to the Indian cricket team is unparalleled. The former skipper had stood up time and again, whether it be in Tests, ODIs, or T20Is. From stealing a miraculous win at the MCG against Pakistan to scoring the most runs by a batter in an ODI World Cup, he’s done it all for Team India.
Former BCCI anti-corruption unit chief Neeraj Kumar echoed the same while talking with PTI. Neeraj, a Delhi police officer, worked with the BCCI between 2015 and 2018 and praised the superstar batter for his commitment and work ethic.
“In cricket, Virat Kohli’s work ethic is matchless. The way he goes about his training was exemplary,” he said.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ajinkya Rahane: Gentlemen of Team India
Neeraj praised many Indian cricketers, but according to him, two stood apart.
“Oh, there were lots of them. One should be really proud of them. They all gave me a lot of respect. But two people who are not spoken much about are Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ajinkya Rahane, outstanding people, thorough gentlemen,” he added.
Disrespect from BCCI members?
The former anti-corruption officer also took aim at some members of the BCCI. He said that while many cricketers used foul language, it was some BCCI members who didn’t show him respect. He said:
“Yes, a few of them are fond of using foul language (in Hindi), but I found out this is how they speak. But all of them gave me so much respect, unlike members of the BCCI. So there are lots of things to cherish.”
