Team India’s historic win at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 has sent the entire nation into a frenzy. Fans have been eagerly waiting to celebrate with the champions, and the wait is finally over!

The Rohit Sharma-led team landed in New Delhi on Thursday (July 4) morning and was then escorted to a Hotel from where they are scheduled to meet the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However, the party doesn’t stop there! The team will be greeted with a hero’s welcome in Mumbai, including a victory parade and a celebratory function. When and where is the Team India victory parade?

The parade will be held on Thursday, July 4th, 2024. The festivities will begin at 5:00 PM and continue until 7:00 PM. The open-air bus parade will start at the NCPA, Nariman Point, and travel a short distance of about 2 kilometers to the iconic Wankhede Stadium.

What to Expect During the Parade?

  • Team India, led by skipper Rohit Sharma, will be riding on a specially designed open-top bus, waving to the cheering crowds.
  • The parade route will take them along the scenic Marine Drive, offering fans a chance to catch a glimpse of their cricket heroes.
  • The route will also pass by the CCI Brabourne Stadium before culminating at Wankhede Stadium.
  • Tight security measures have been implemented by the Mumbai Police to ensure a smooth and safe event.

Post Parade Celebrations

  • Following the parade, a grand prize distribution ceremony will be held at Wankhede Stadium
  • BCCI Secretary Jay Shah will be distributing the winning prize money of Rs 125 crore to the team.
