In a display of lighthearted camaraderie, the Punjab Kings (PBKS) shared a fun video on their social media channels featuring four of their English players in a “doodle challenge.”
The video puts Sam Curran, Jonny Bairstow, Liam Livingstone, and Chris Woakes in the spotlight, lined up behind each other. The challenge starts with Woakes, positioned at the very back, drawing something on Livingstone’s back. Livingstone, unable to see what’s being drawn, interprets the doodle based on what he feels and replicates it on Bairstow’s back.

Bairstow, Curran, Livingstone and Woakes engage in a funny challenge
Bairstow follows suit, translating Livingstone’s creation onto Sam Curran’s back. Finally, Curran, at the front of the line with a whiteboard in hand, has the difficult task of depicting the series of interpretations and translating them into a final image.
The video captures the laughter, and confusion between the players as the final revealed image proved out to be a football picture. This social media activity not only provides some lighthearted entertainment for fans but also serves as a window into the strong bond shared by the English contingent within the PBKS team.
PBKS will play against the Mumbai Indians (MI) in their next IPL 2024 match at the Mullanpur Stadium in Chandigarh on Thursday, April 18.
