Stuart Broad is all set to to opt out of the tour of Pakistan in December to be with his fiancée, singer and Radio One presenter Mollie King, as she prepares to give birth to their first child. The couple had announced the arrival of their new first child in June, when Mollie posted an Instagram post.
The pair, both 35, announced their engagement in January 2021, having dated since 2012. The pair is one of the most talked about personalities in the England and often attracts plenty of attention. Broad’s miss could come as a big hole to fill in for the management.
Players set for Burn Out as England face hectic schedule
Stuart Broad will be a huge miss for the England team during the upcoming months as they travel across for several tours and T20 World Cup. The miss comes as a blow to them as they look for reinforcements during the period. The T20 squad flies to Australia for World Cup warm-up matches before their tournament opener against Afghanistan on October 22.
The T20 World Cup final is in Melbourne on November 13 and England begin their Test match training camp in Abu Dhabi on November 18, followed by their only warm-up match against England Lions on November 23.
Captain Stokes, coach Brendon McCullum and the squad will then fly to Pakistan for the First Test in Rawalpindi on December 1 followed by further Tests in Multan on December 9 and Karachi on December 17. Some players not involved in the Pakistan Test series will remain in Australia for three 50-over matches following the T20 World Cup. Others will be flown out to bolster the squad.

Impact of hectic Cricket schedule
- England have a very hectic itinerary and could face burn out of players while they are now without Broad.
- Top players are being forced to miss more and more cricket to try to avoid burn-out and possible injury.
- Stokes and Bairstow both pulled out of The Hundred this summer and Stokes has quit 50-over cricket altogether.
- Those impacted could include captain Ben Stokes, Jonny Bairstow, Chris Woakes, Mark Wood and, if he overturns his retirement from Test cricket, Moeen Ali.
