The Three Lions make three changes from the team that lost at Lord’s last week. Moeen Ali, Chris Woakes and Mark Wood are included. They replace James Anderson and Josh Tongue, who are rested and Ollie Pope is out of the rest of the series after dislocating his right shoulder at Lord’s.

The England team are keen to get back their arch-rivals. After a 4-0 loss last year, the England team struck back with an unorthodox aggressive style of play, popularly known as Bazball. This new style brought instant success but come the Ashes, bazball didn’t hold ground against the mighty Aussies.
In the first Test match at Birmingham, Pat Cummins snatched a thrilling win as the visitors took a 1-0 lead in the series. But that was not the case in the second Test match at Lord’s. Australia comprehensively dominated their opponents and won the game by 43 runs.
Now with the series at stake, the Three Lions have made three changes to their playing XI. Moeen Ali, Mark Wood and Chris Woakes will replace the trio of Ollie Pope, Josh Tongue and Jimmy Anderson
