Former England cricketer James Anderson joined the side’s dressing room on Tuesday amid the PAK vs ENG 1st Test in Multan. The visitors are currently being mauled by the Pakistan batters on what is a very flat wicket, with the hosts going past the 400-run mark before lunch on Day 2. Anderson, who retired earlier this year, committed himself to being a part of the team, mentoring the bowling department for the rest of England’s summer.
James Anderson reunites with England amid PAK vs ENG 1st Test
Anderson joined England in Multan after a slight delay, owing to his participation in a golf tournament in Scotland, as per Cricket Pakistan. Like most of the bowlers, England pacers including Gus Atkinson, Chris Woakes and Carse have been punished by the Pakistan batters so far and have tasted very little success. It remains to be seen if the arrival of James Anderson can change the fortune for the visitors via some much-needed pep talk and advice.
