Anderson has now gone past Australia great Glenn McGrath who has 949 international dismissals. This helps Anderson become the only pacer to cross 950 wickets across all formats of the game in International cricket. Anderson also added another feature on his cap when he played his 100th Test match on his home soil against South Africa.
Anderson is also the fourth-highest wicket-taker across all formats. Only Muttiah Muralidharan with 1347 wickets, Shane Warne with 1001, and Anil Kumble with 956 wickets are ahead of the 40-year-old English pacer.
