Old Trafford Weather: ENG vs AUS Weather Forecast – Rain could foil England’s charge to a series-levelling win with heavy showers predicted in Manchester this week. Ben Stokes’ side have thoroughly dominated Australia at Old Trafford heading into Day 4. Ran has already descended with the pitch entirely under wraps. England are leading by 162 runs, with Australia set to resume on 113/4.
As per BBC’s forecast, Clouds and rain are predicted to arrive at Old Trafford on Saturday morning. There may be little moments of dry weather, but not enough to suggest an extended period of play. Unfortunately, the forecast for Sunday is also quite similar.

Despite a drop to 86 percent in the afternoon and a 40% risk of thunderstorms in Manchester, AccuWeather predicts a 99 per cent chance of rain today. The Met Office meanwhile predicts a dry spell expected from about 2pm on day four, but only for an hour or two.
England will sit uneasily knowing that a series-levelling win could be snatched away from them. Australia meanwhile knows a washout would mean they retain the Ashes. It with a mountain to climb to comeback in this Test, Josh Hazlewood admitted that a rain would make their job easier.
“I’d be very pleased if it rains. It’s obviously forecast, and forecasts can change all the time, but it would be great to lose a few overs — it would make our job a bit easier,” Josh Hazlewood admitted.
Australia were bowled out for 317 in their first innings. In response, England blasted 592 with Zak Crawley scoring a mammoth 189. Jonny Bairstow was left stranded on 99 as the hosts took a 275-run lead. In their second innings, Australia have stumbled to 113/4, with Mark Wood picking up three wickets.
