Jos Buttler was a man possessed as he single-handedly made light work of Australia’s 126, scoring a scintillating half-century. The England opener slammed a 32-ball 71 to ensure that his side breached the total in less than 12 overs to go top of Group 1 and put one foot into the semi-finals. Buttler reached his half-century in just 25 balls, the joint-fastest of the T20 World Cup 2021, before tanking a few more hits to finish the chase.
