Emotional Hardik Pandya breaks down after holding nerve to take India across the line in T20 World Cup Final

Hardik Pandya broke down after guiding the Indian team to a T20 World Cup win after a long wait of 10 years since 2007.

Hardik Pandya delivered the final over in the most intense conditions to guide the Indian cricket team to their second T20 World Cup trophy win on Saturday in a close encounter, securing victory by seven wickets at the Kensington Oval in Barbados.

Pandya held his nerve in the last over and delivered an excellent spell. He took three wickets, conceding 20 runs at an economy rate of 6.66.

Hardik Pandya happy tears

After winning the match, Pandya saw every Indian crying with him. The Indian all-rounder was entrusted with the last over, where India had to defend 16 runs, and Pandya conceded only 8 runs in the final over.

Pandya was seen sobbing uncontrollably after achieving his dream of lifting the ICC trophy. Rohit Sharma went to tap him on the back, and both hugged with tears in their eyes, leaving everything behind in this magical moment.
