As for the match, Prithvi Shaw scored a swashbuckling unbeaten ton to help West Zone end Day 2 against Central Zone at 130/3 at stumps. They have hence increased their lead to 259 runs in the Duleep Trophy semifinal. Earlier, Jaydev Unadkat and Tanush Kotian took three wickets each to dismiss Central Zone for 128.
