Central Zone vs West Zone
In a rain-affected semifinal match at the Alur Cricket Ground, West Zone secured their place in the Duleep Trophy final after securing a draw. They will be making it their 34th final appearance, which is a record.
Despite the rain interrupting play on the final day, West Zone advanced to the final by virtue of their first-innings lead against Central Zone.
West Zone set up a target of 390 after getting bowled out for 297 early on Day 4. Central Zone managed to play out throughout the day and finished on 128/4. However, West Zone qualified for taking lead in the first innings.
If West Zone manages to win the final next week, they will claim their 19th Duleep Trophy title, surpassing North Zone and securing the record for the most titles in the tournament.

South Zone vs North Zone
South Zone emerged victorious in the second semi-final of the Duleep Trophy 2023, defeating North Zone by two wickets at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Chasing a target of 215, South Zone began the day at 21/0. Vaibhav Arora of North Zone picked up crucial wickets, dismissing Sai Sudharsan for 17 and Ravikumar Samarth for 5. However, a solid partnership between Mayank Agarwal (54) and captain Hanuma Vihari (43) put South Zone in a commanding position.
After the departure of Agarwal and Vihari, Ricky Bhui (34) and Tilak Varma (25) contributed with valuable runs. Despite losing wickets, South Zone managed to score 213/8.
Although North Zone tried their best to slow down the game, bowling 5.5 overs in 55 minutes but South Zone managed to surpass the target. Sai Kishore (15*) played a crucial role, hitting two sixes, with the final one sealing the victory for his team.
