Due for a big score: Robin Uthappa expects Shikhar Dhawan to pile big runs

PBKS vs SRH: Robin Uthappa expects Punjab Kings skipper Shikhar Dhawan to pile up a big score in IPL 2024

Punjab Kings haven’t got the start they needed in IPL 2024. With 2 wins and 2 losses PBKS are currently placed 6th in the IPL Points Table. However, their skipper Shikhar Dhawan is patiently awaiting a huge score. It is safe to say that Dhawan has got off to a good start in IPL 2024.

The southpaw hammered a 45-run knock against RCB and a brilliant 70 against LSG. But Robin Uthappa believes that Dhawan is due for a big score. It can be well understood that Uthappa is hinting that Dhawan is due in scoring a century in this 17th edition of the Indian Premier League.

Shikhar Dhawan due for a big score

“Shikhar Dhawan is due for a big score and we seldom see him going through an IPL without scoring big scores. I am amped up to see him score well (tomorrow) and see him score big runs. He has set some really high standards for himself as an opening batter and has always been among the runs in the IPL. I am predicting a big score from Shikhar Dhawan,” Uthappa said on Jio Cinema.

Shikhar Dhawan will be eyeing to pile up a big score when Punjab Kings take on Sunrisers Hyderabad on Tuesday. Playing at their home, Punjab Kings will be keeping their hopes high in securing their 3rd win of the campaign.
