Rohit Sharma to RCB?

Former cricketer Mohammad Kaif has suggested that Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) acquire Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma in the upcoming IPL 2025 mega auction. Kaif believes Rohit’s leadership skills and tactical acumen could be a valuable asset for RCB, who might be looking for a new captain in the IPL 2025 mega auction. Speculation has arisen about MI potentially releasing Rohit, given their recent struggles and the need for a fresh strategy after making Hardik Pandya the new skipper.

New & world-class NCA unveiled by Jay Shah!

With his BCCI Secretary term nearing its end, Jay Shah has launched the new National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. The 40-acre facility features three grounds with 86 pitches from across India. The BCCI ‘Centre of Excellence’ boasts 8 indoor turf pitches from England and Australia. The grounds will have red soil, Mandya soil, and Black Cotton soil pitches, along with the SubAir drainage and running tracks. Integrated cameras will be used for analytical purposes as well.

IPL Chairman reveals why Impact Player rule!

The Impact Player rule, introduced in IPL 2022, has been a topic of debate. While some believe it has added dynamism to the game, others argue it hinders the development of all-rounders. However, IPL Chairman Arun Dhumal has defended the rule, stating it has enhanced the tournament’s quality. He dismissed concerns about all-rounders being sidelined, emphasizing that top-class players like Ravindra Jadeja and Sunil Narine have consistently found places in starting XIs. Dhumal urged all-rounders to improve their skills to secure regular spots.

MS Dhoni = Shah Rukh Khan?

Shah Rukh Khan returned as IIFA’s host after a decade, captivating his fans. When asked about retirement, he humorously suggested Karan Johar should retire instead. SRK compared himself to MS Dhoni, and said, “I am a different kind of legend. I’m like MS Dhoni—despite saying no, he ends up playing 10 seasons of IPL..” Vicky Kaushal praised SRK’s enduring legacy, calling him a “king.”

Musheer Khan is SAFE!

Musheer Khan, and his father, Naushad Khan, were injured in a car accident while travelling to Lucknow for the Irani Cup. Their car overturned on the Purvanchal Expressway, resulting in a neck fracture for Musheer and minor injuries for Naushad. However, Musheer and his father took to social media to announce that they are in a much better condition now.  “I want to thank God for giving me a new life. I am fine now. My father and I are fine. I thank God for your prayers,” said Musheer.

BCB announce squad for IND vs BAN T20Is

Bangladesh Cricket Board named their 15-member squad for the upcoming T20I series against India. Key all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz returns to the team after a long absence, while opener Parvez Hossain Emon and left-arm spinner Rakibul Hasan are also recalled. The squad announcement comes a day after India revealed their lineup. Soumya Sarkar has been dropped from the team. Shakib Al Hasan, who recently announced his retirement from both Tests and T20Is, will not be part of the series as usual.
