No rest for Jasprit Bumrah
The BCCI has retained the same 16-member squad for the second Test against Bangladesh in Kanpur. Despite expectations of Jasprit Bumrah being rested, he will continue to be part of the team. This is despite India being scheduled to play 3 Tests against New Zealand in November before locking horns for five Test match series against Australia. India A – Duleep Trophy winners!
India A has clinched the Duleep Trophy 2024 title after defeating India C by 132 runs on the final day of the tournament at Anantapur Stadium. A tight bowling performance from Prasidh Krishna and Tanush Kotian prevented India C from chasing down the target of 350 runs. The match went right to the wire, with Prasidh racking up 3 wickets in the last 4.1 overs. Shashwat Rawat was the player of the match for his impeccable knocks of 124 and 53.
