Rohit poses questions on ICC

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma addressed scheduling concerns at the T20 World Cup semi-final press conference. He downplayed any advantage in Guyana but questioned the ICC’s decision to have no reserve day for their pre-determined semi-final slot. With rain predicted, Rohit voiced worry about missing their flight if the match gets delayed, putting the onus on the ICC and WICB for solutions.

Shivam Dube gets birthday present!

While unfortunate for Nitish Reddy, it was a birthday double bonanza for Shivam Dube! The all-rounder received a surprise call-up to the Indian squad for the Zimbabwe tour, replacing the injured Nitish Reddy. Dube, already with the team for the T20 World Cup, gets a golden opportunity to showcase his skills. This comes on his birthday (June 26), making it a memorable day for the player. While Reddy’s debut is on hold, India gains a versatile option in Dube.

Georgia stun Portugal!

It has been potentially a day of upsets. Slovakia and Romania played out a 1-1 draw while on the other hand, Ukraine held Belgium to a goal less draw. Turkey scored a late goal to clinch a 2-1 win over 10 man Czech Republic. But Georgia on the other hand, shocked Portugal with a 2-0 loss.
